UYC @ the Tera Nationals

Another fantastic weekend sailing from three of the clubs younger members at the Tera Nationals. After the first day saw winds of 25 knots and over, Aggie Priestley was unfortunately sent in before racing started (by her own father!).
The other two girls didn't make the second race so there was lots to play for on the second day. Slightly lighter winds saw everyone finishing all races whilst having to concentrate on waves, tides and even ferry crossings. All girls were at least an inch taller after fighting the wind all day!
The final day of racing today saw Olivia Dembinski winning first girl in the Tera Pro fleet in 11 th place with four top ten finishes out of 43 sailors. Laia Priestley finished in 16th place and was fourth girl in the Tera Sport fleet with three top ten finishes in a fleet of 78 sailors. Aggie came 37th out of a fleet of 78 sailors and had an amazing top 30 finish in really tough conditions. Huge congratulations girls and we can't wait to see you back at the club.
