Dinghy Instructor Pre-entry assessment

The RYA require the Pre Entry Assessment to be passed by all candidates prior to them taking the RYA Dinghy Instructor course. The 1 day Assessment will test your sailing skills up to RYA Advanced sailing level technique including RYA Seamanship Skills
Sailing skills such as man overboard, sailing tight circles, sailing a triangular course and sailing a follow-my-leader course will be assessed to advanced sailing level technique. Successful completion will enable the student to join the RYA Dinghy Instructor course. It is important that you satisfy yourself that you can sail to the required standard before taking the assessment.
