Cruiser Recovery, Winter storage and 2026 Mooring Deposit

At UYC we offer a cruiser recovery service. As part of this service we will remove your boat from the lake and put it into winter storage and then launch again at the start of the year. You don't need to be present for this so it will save you from taking a day or two off work to launch and recover your boat. Also we are able to jet wash the bottom your boat to get rid of all of the slime and growth which will have grown on the bottom of your boat over the summer.

The mooring deposit is to retain your mooring for 2026 season please do not pay this if you currently do not have a mooring and you’re on the waiting list.
£100 mooring deposit will be deducted from your total mooring bill. The mooring deposit is nonrefundable.

This is a two-way trip We will remove your boat from the water and put it into Winter storage and then we will launch it at the start of the sailing season (Mid April).
