Sail Camp 2019 - booking now open

Sail Camp this year is from Sunday, 28 July to Friday, 2 August. If you're 8-14 ,it's a fabulous opportunity to learn to sail and make lifelong friends at the club. With experienced RYA instructors we'll have you blasting around the lake in no time. We cater for all abilities from those new to the water to those undertaking Assistant Instructor training.

You can gain your RYA level 1-4 qualifications depending on your experience and progress. We have 4 sessions on the water through the day, interspersed with food and cake. All our food is cooked from scratch, in fact sailing seems to revolve around it! It begins on Sunday from 4pm and finishes 5pm Friday.

Sail Camp is completely run by volunteers. Instructors take holidays to run this and no-one is paid. To help run this all we ask is that you volunteer 1 day of your time per child to help out shore side. It's great fun and a fabulous time for the kids. The cost of this year's Sail Camp is £180. Bookings are now taken online via the UYC website. Bookings after the 10th of June will be charged a £20 late booking fee.
