MAGIC MARINE DAFFODIL REGATTA - UPDATE
25-26 April | Ullswater Yacht Club
With less than 2 weeks to go, preparations are well underway for what's shaping up to be another fantastic Daffodil Regatta.

A quick reminder that the early bird entry fee ends on 15th April, with full pricing applying from the 16th. Entries are building fast, so if you haven't signed up yet and are planning on taking part, we encourage members to enter as soon as possible. Details below.

Racing Plans
We're planning three separate on-the-water courses, each supporting multiple fleets. This should allow for varied, high-quality racing across the weekend.
We are expecting strong turnouts across the named classes:
D-Zero | RS200 | Snipe | OK | Musto Skiff | 2000
In addition, we will also be running:
Fast Handicap | Slow Handicap | Cruiser Fleet
So whatever you sail, there will be racing available if you enter.
Expect competitive but friendly racing, classic Ullswater conditions, and a great early-season regatta atmosphere.
Ashore Highlights
There's plenty happening off the water too:
Shappy Wheels Fish & Chips Friday & Saturday evening
Live music from Fiona (Music in the Lakes) Saturday from 7:30pm
Breakfasts available both mornings from the club galley
A special presentation and official opening of the Birkett Bar, led by our President, with Victoria (Lord Birkett's granddaughter) joining us to mark the occasion
Final Details
Further information, including final sailing instructions and schedules, will be confirmed in due course, so please keep an eye out for updates.

Volunteer First Aider Needed - Sunday 26th
We are looking for a volunteer first aider to support the event on Sunday. Only basic first aid training is required. The role involves being on site during the regatta and carrying a radio, so you are available to respond to any minor first aid issues that may arise.
