RYA North Junior Championships cancelled

The UYC Sailing Committee and Directors have confirmed that RYA North Region Junior Championships due to be held UYC on Sept 26 & 27 are cancelled due to the increasing restrictions to combat the virus and the impact this is having on members who live in these areas.

This is a disappointment to us all especially the UYC juniors who were looking to test their sailing skills against other juniors from the region, but it was felt the event could not be delivered safely. Let's hope that next year we will be able to hold such events. Can I thank the following for their hard work - Graham Donkin, Edmund Clarke, Mark Humphries, Sailing Committee Officers, members who have volunteered to help run the event and staff at the RYA.
