Rescheduled Date of the 63rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Ullswater Yacht Club
Further to the notice of the need to reschedule the UYC AGM, due to local flooding at UYC site, the AGM will now be held on: Saturday 13th November at 2.00pm at Stainton Village Hall, Stainton, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 OEP.
Directions to Stainton Village Hall: At the Rheged roundabout on the A66 towards Keswick, turn left taking the A592 to Ullswater, but after about 200m, turn right signposted Stainton. Continue along this road for 1 mile, turning left at the next crossroads. After 200m, the Village Hall is opposite the Kings Arms Pub. Parking is along the village streets, taking care not to block residents' access.
Proxy Voting: Any proxy votes issued by members for the original date of the member do not need to be reissued these will be used for the revised date. Under the Articles we can accept proxy forms from members up to 48 hours in advance of the proposed AGM. Therefore for those members who are unable to attend, or have not already issued a proxy form, we are now able to receive proxy forms until 2pm on Thursday 11th November. Ullswater Yacht Club Limited - Advance notice of Annual General Meeting
The 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Ullswater Yacht Club limited will be held on Saturday 30th October, 2021 at 5.30 pm at the Club.
All Club officer positions are open for election at the AGM. Nominations need to be recorded on a form that will be posted on the Clubhouse noticeboard very shortly. To be valid, each nomination requires the supporting signatures of both a proposer and a seconder who are members eligible to vote. The closing date for the receipt of nominations is Friday 1st October, 2021.
Members wishing to propose resolutions to be considered at the AGM, should initially submit their proposals to email@example.com by Friday 1st October, 2021. These proposals and a draft agenda will then be circulated to the membership for review, prior to the receipt of ay final proposals. The final closing date for the receipt of proposed resolutions is Friday 8th October, 2021.
The formal notice of the AGM including an agenda and list of proposals will then be sent to members no later than 14 days prior to the AGM.
