2026 UYC Visitor and Camping Charges as shown on club website

All prices include VAT where applicable

Before you visit

Visitor fees or open meeting entry fees must be paid to:

• access camping (subject to an additional camping fee); or
• sail a boat from the Club's site

This means that if you are coming to stay for a few days, each adult must pay a visitor fee for each day they are on site, unless access is included through an open meeting entry.

All visitors are requested to pre-book their visit (including day visits and camping) to ensure availability.

Visitor fees

Per adult, per day: £32

Children under 18: No charge when accompanying an adult visitor

Camping

Per night

• One tent: £20
• Campervan: £25

Camping is subject to availability and must be booked in advance.

Launching and recovery

Cruisers and keelboats (using own vehicle, max 2 tonnes)

• Launch: £60
• Recovery: £60

Launching and recovery must be pre-booked and are carried out at the owner's risk. Availability may be limited at busy times.

Groups and Events

Community group day access:
Negotiable

Large visiting groups from RYA-affiliated clubs and recognised class associations:
Discounts may be available for combinations of visitor access, camping and hospitality services

Open meetings:
Entry fees include:

• visitor access
• day parking
• boat launching / retrieval

Camping is not included unless stated otherwise.

Important conditions of access

• All visitors bringing a boat to the site (whether sailing, launching or recovering) must confirm they hold valid third-party liability insurance
• All non-members must comply with Club bylaws and always follow reasonable directions from Club staff and officers
• Campervan use outside designated events may be restricted due to planning conditions please check availability in advance
• All visits are subject to availability and Club approval

• Visitors are welcome for a day or several days
• Visitor fees are charged per adult, per day
• Camping is charged separately, per night
• Children under 18 may accompany adult visitors free of charge
• Camping and launching/recovery are only available where the appropriate visitor fee or event entry has been arranged in advance
