Sailing Manager - 2026

Ullswater Yacht Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Sailing Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of all on-water sailing activities at the club, including club sailing, racing, regattas, and the Sailing School.

This is a senior, hands-on role with significant responsibility for safety, programme delivery, volunteer leadership, and the ongoing development and growth of the club's sailing and training activities. Working closely with the General Manager, Sailing Committee, and wider club leadership, the Sailing Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring Ullswater Yacht Club continues to deliver high-quality, safe, and enjoyable sailing experiences for members and visitors alike. Weekend working is essential, with flexibility required during peak sailing periods.

Senior Sailing Instructor - 2026

Ullswater Yacht Club is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Sailing Instructor to play a leading role in the delivery and development of our sailing programme on one of the UK's most beautiful inland waters.

As we look ahead to a busy and exciting year, this is a key, hands-on position combining high-quality on-water instruction with leadership, mentoring, and support of instructors and volunteers. The role would suit a passionate RYA Dinghy Senior Instructor who enjoys developing people, maintaining excellent safety standards, and delivering an outstanding experience for members and course participants.

Kitchen Assistant Seasonal - 2026

Ullswater Yacht Club is seeking a reliable and flexible Kitchen Assistant for the 2026 season. In 2025, our galley operated for a limited number of member events and key larger events, relying heavily on volunteers. For 2026, there is a significant demand for the galley to be open more consistently, particularly on Saturdays, with flexibility for mornings, afternoons, or evenings as agreed.
