Ullswater Yacht Club's biggest event of the year, the iconic long-distance Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy, is on July 4 & 5, 2026.

Ullswater Yacht Club is delighted to announce that leading international supplier of sailing gear and accessories, Magic Marine will again sponsor the event

The quest for the 'Holy Grail' of a Birkett win attracts keen sailors from national champions to novices in a huge range of different boats. More than just a race, it has become a festival of sailing, popular with racers from all over the country.
