Important information for members with dinghies/keelboats
Published 18:45 on 14 Nov 2019
Dinghy storage - Any member wanting to leave his or her dinghy at the club over the winter months MUST inform me by email email@example.com and pay the appropriate fee (£53) before the end of November, Dinghies will need to be moved to a winter berth which will be allocated on receipt of the request.
All craft in winter storage - In previous years we have sustained damage to members boats due to them not being strapped down to the ground anchors or storage frame provided, if you choose to padlock your boats please supply me with a spare key in case we need to temporally move them for maintenance.
I have seen a number of tenders being moved up the site and left in random locations, if you are wanting to leave your tender at UYC over winter you must inform me by phone or email and I can give you a secure location to leave your craft. Any craft that cant not be accounted for will be removed from site!
Due to last year's theft and other activities on the grounds of the club we will be installing a comprehensive CCTV system within the next month, this is to make the site and assets as secure as possible. The system will remotely contact myself and Edmund upon any activity around the clubhouse, sheds and slipway.
Thank you all for your cooperation and support to help make the club run smoothly and safely.
