Welcome

Looking for somewhere to sail in the Lake District?  Look no further than Ullswater, one of the most stunning lakes in the UK. We are located at the northern part of this seven-mile lake and, being only 10 minutes from the M6, we are the most accessible. Whether it's an introduction to sailing, RYA training, or competitive racing you're after, we have it all. And if you are a member of UYC you can camp for free in the club grounds.

2018 is a very special year for everyone at Ullswater Yacht Club - it's our 60th Anniversary.

In honour of the Diamond Anniversary we have a new version of the UYC Pegasus logo 'Diamond Peggy' and a celebration weekend with events on and off the water will be held on June 16 & 17.

Throughout the year we will be looking back at the fascinating history of the club and how it grew from a group of enthusiasts who loved spending their spare time on beautiful Ullswater to the sailing mecca that it is today - winner of two Club of the Year Awards.
